There is no question that life at Glades Day School extends beyond the classroom. In addition to athletics, we encourage all students to also get involved in clubs and other organizations that match their interests. Our Campus Life team, club sponsors, and faculty are all dedicated to helping students experience life at GDS to its fullest! How will you enrich your GDS experience?

Lower School Clubs
GDS offers a number of Lower School clubs for preschool through elementary!
Preschool Lego Club, Robotics Club, Garden Club, Math Club, Stem Lab, and More!
Upper School Clubs
GDS offers a number of Upper School clubs for sixth through twelfth grade!
Art Club, FFA/Agriscience, Gold Club, Green Club, Gator Club, Yearbook Club, and More!
Organizations
GDS offers a number of organizations for students to enhance their academics.
NJHS, NHS, Spanish Honor Society, FCA, Student Council, Safety Patrol, Green Club, Gold Club, Gator Club, and More!
Extracurricular activities provide a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned in the classroom, offering students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context, & are thus considered part of a well-rounded education.

Educational Travel
GDS offers students a variety of educational, age-appropriate field trips to expand the student’s understanding of the world. These field trips are an extension of the learning process, providing students with opportunities to explore, be active, and conduct field studies as part of the implementation of educational standards.
Annual Trips
Fundraisers are held to assist the students with the expense of these trips. Parents/guardians are also invited to participate in most educational trips.

4th Grade Students - Destination: St. Augustine, Florida

5th and 6th Grade Students - Destination: Alternating trips between Washington, D.C., and a Florida educational trip such as Discovery Cove, Sea Camp, Sea World, etc.

10th and 11th Grade Students - Destination: College tour of six, public colleges in Florida
